To the forum?

I clicked on refresh to read the latest posts and my browser refused to do anything and I had to close it then on re opening I could not get back into the forum for 10 to 15 minutes - all other sites worked OK

So did anyone else have this "Challenge" or was it just lil 'ol me?   Question

I did as well.  I figured the server for the forum was down for a little while.

Oh good - I was just starting to get a sinking feeling that Internal network services (the company IT bods) had spotted my usage and had blocked the site <shudder>

Unlikely, but it did occur to me

Yes, there was a problem at the web host's end (ooh, Matron!) - one of the machines in the web hosting cluster developed a problem with the file system, and all web sites hosted there stopped responding for about 20 minutes.  Everything's fine now!

(I'm moving this to First Aid, where more people are likely to see it than in General Discussion.)
