I like how pm's are sent straight into your email addy Thumb up

Yes, but you have to be careful not to reply to that e-mail - it doesn't go back to the person who sent the PM!  (I think at the moment such misdirected replies go into a black hole of deletion.)

I wanted to say that I like this thread!  Reading through it gives me a really quick 'heads up' on the features of this forum!  Thank you all!

And I'll say that I really like the look of the place, the colours, etc.  It's really interesting what that can do to you.  I belong to another forum that has the same look, but the colours are different, and I've never felt at home there, even though I've belonged for a couple of years...so whoever said it (Howard?) about the warm colours being welcoming, you are very right...

The point is, how do you know the Guarantee Fairy isn't a crazy glue sniffer? "Building model airplanes" says the little fairy, but we're not buying it. Next thing you know, there's money missing off the dresser and your daughter's knocked up, I seen it a hundred times.

Going back to the colours thing. I like these colours because they're very open. Some sites feel very enclosed with their colour schemes and as someone with the capacity for forum addiction it means my attention is not constantly being referred back to the site itself. Weird isn't it!

I also find sites that are too white/grey kind of cold and unwelcoming.

I like this forum because I was able to meet someone else that plays Animal Crossing and was able to visit her town....and I know she's a grown up and not like 12!!!! (like most of the peeps on my animal crossing forum...hehe)

I just hope she's not mad about the roses....  Wink
