Afternoon! (2:35 EST)

It's 71 F outside after bone-chilling temps all week, and all winter really.

Feels like a heat wave!

I guess this must be Mother Nature's way of telling us "Steady on, Spring will come" Applause

And was it a good day - good run out?

Too tired here to concentrate - new job is hard work and early mornings are getting to me - am suffering pain in my gums, due, I think partly, to the additional stress of the new job

Have a great day all

early mornings are a pain, we've been on extra hours at work for the last 4 weeks, since I only work 4 days so I'm having to work 10 hour days. I'm just glad that it's getting lighter in the morning since I leave the house at 7am. Steve, have you been grinding your teeth during the day or even at night?

Hi Steve,

The main problem with this Gum problem is stress. Its called TMJ in the states but TMD here, I have a link for you to see:

http://www.medic8.com/dental/tmj-disorders.htm

I had this really bad a few months ago and can tell you it is from stress. I've had it before and it does go away but you have to make a conscious effort to de-stress first. Make sure you are not clenching your back teeth. People do it and don't even know they are. Try not to chew gum. They say that is not a cause but I have found it doesn't help. Do simple breathing techniques and catch yourself when your jaw is clenched. It will take some time to go away but it will only get worst if you don't try to deal with it on your own.

Now what fun would that be? Upside down

It's mid-morning here on the east coast of America, we had 10 inches of snow last Sunday, then our northern neighbor kindly sent a blast of arctic air our way plunging temps to 10F yesterday morn. That's cold even for the mid-Atlantic.

For the last week I've been dressing for work as though I'm about to set off on a long hike in the Maine woods just to stay warm.

Keeping me alive: 74F on Saturday!! Thumb up
