Tomorrow is my appointment for my identity check for my first UK passport! WOO HOO! I should receive it about 3 days later (according to the letter they sent me).

So that's me done and dusted.  It's been nearly two years since I got citizenship, but I needed to wait until I knew someone professional for 2 years to countersign my passport photo and application. One of the big-cheese guys in central finance here at Orange did it for me.....

Then to renew the USA passport and I'm all sorted for another 10 years.....and the immigration peeps can stay out of my purse for good!  Applause

Congratulations!  What a relief!

I'm just waiting on my ILR and then I can either naturalise...or wait for the law to change and register as a citizen through my mom...I'll be glad to get it done and dusted!
